We will be free

Weep within and
kiss the day
The world’s grasp may
grow tighter,
more pitiless with each minute

But daylight will strike
the golden grains
of the shoreline–
and a vision now flown
will bestow hope upon your brow

In parting we clasp and clutch
But in return…
…in restoration and
resumption
–in love–

We will be free
