Ra

Falcon from another sun
rising before us
from the mist
from the great river
from time out of memory

Speaker of secret names
we are your cattle
and these
your endless fields

Here in your presence are
light
heat
warmth
and even mirth

As I
distracted
am caught by her
eye

Lead us to rebirth

Watch over us

Do not let us fall

  1. Does seem quite evocative of the day. If you ever visit Northern California, you would probably enjoy the Rosecruitian Museum in San Jose.

  2. NotATameLion says:

My grandmother was a Rosicrucian. And my brother was just in San Jose on business. Sadly, the museum was closed.
