Mara

Desires
of ancient days

Take shape, take form
riding the waves of night

Entangling, entwining
our thoughts and our bodies

Hovering above the water
returning as ghosts

As daylight breaks
the spell

We, hand in hand, come with a request-

Bring us sweet dreams this night
Sweet Mara
Bring us your friendship
Bring us rest
