Dakshayani

I want to know and feel the edges of my pain
and from the forest you call me
with acts of devotion and love

I want to know the depth and mystery of my pain
and from the tree of stories you call from me
one leaf into each new moment

I want to know and heal the edges of your pain
your honor insulted by those who insult mine
a holy fire springing to life

In this does knowledge become too weak and finally cease
In this is true love
