Resumption

I kiss you there in the dark
I hold you for dear life
I tell you I cannot hear you
Over the sound of your Beauty

Adrift on the oceans of your eyes
Swept away from all I once was
Clinging to you in the tempest
Of you.

You are the shore I reach
And you, in Queenly array,
Descend to the shore
Offering a hand to entwine

This is the story of a fall
And redemption
Resumption of Life
In your arms, your hand in mine, your Beauty – pounding through my heart more strongly than blood, your laughter echoing in my ears, of my rejection of a false life having found the real damn thing in you.
