caught

Rescued
entwined
loved

Freed
embraced
held

Devoted
refined
ablaze

These paradoxes, once trite, are now defining

Set adrift
on the oceans
of your eyes

At peace
in the hurricane
of our heart

Time
destiny
and the stars

Make us one
